Artist Statement:
"Clock Bodies seeks to portray the tension of living inside a constantly fluctuating physical form that is subject to time, illness, and mutation. This collection explores a feminine life cycle in particular, fraught with body changes, uneasiness about motherhood, and the quiet desire to transform from flesh into energy. Contrasting black and white photographs and psychedelic colors emphasize the conflict between our earthly, grounded selves and our ability to expand beyond what we have been told is pre-determined for our bodies and spirits."
