"The Left Behind"

Artist Statement:
This work is inspired by fragments- of memory, of burdens, of things we leave behind when we move on. The distance between a person and the intangible moments within the  crevices of vivid evocation barely surface before being blinked away. It is the uncomfortable  way that we interact with time and dance around its lack of forgiveness reaching through hurt  to embrace the longing within it. The work is a capsule, moments left behind and discarded then rearranged into hazy and fractured retellings, ready to blissfully consume more time.
