We are seeking social connection and an end to systemic racism during this time of despair. It feels nowhere is safe and the world is full of anguish, but there is one we seek solace in; the home. We are experiencing our homes as places where our lives take place. We engage the screen like a sci-fi film heeding the terror of our submersion into technology. However, this is how we work, we connect and entertain ourselves. However there is fruitfulness in this. We are baking bread, going through family archives, creating and trying to continue our lives. The Last Safe Place on Earth seeks to explore the ups and downs of intimate sheltering.
