Artist Statement:
"Don't Save the Humans is a conversation on the thoughtless, loving, arrogant nature of our species. The scenes playing out on each cube are intended to evoke these feelings in different ways. Scenes of oblivious people gathering together as friends, people degrading fellow humans as entertaining spectacles, people devastated at the felling of mighty trees, people going about their day blissfully unaware of the magnitude of devastation our species has unleashed on the planet and ourselves. All of these quotidian activities take place on comparatively enormous cubes resembling raw, ground meat, calling to mind the awe-inspiring and awful ability of humanity to abstract things from their original forms until they are entirely unrecognizable - forever alienating ourselves and struggling to develop healthy dynamics within the human and the non-human worlds."
